It's now official, the case bust is complete. Time to settle back and digest what this years product was all about. Allen and Ginter is a definite like/dislike product, with very little middle ground. There are people out there like myself that absolutely love the product, and then there are those who will not touch it. I can understand why some may shy away from Allen and Ginter, there are a lot of non-baseball inclusions, and the checklist is an endless labyrinth of minis, parallels, oddball, and huge box toppers. While the previously stated may drive away some, it is also the exact reason why many are driven to the product. I was blown away by this years release. The black bordered relics and autos are crisp and appealing to the eye, and the "oddball" inclusions are interesting and add another dimension to the product. I also enjoyed seeing the expanse conglomeration of sports stars, veterans, current players, and relatively unknowns. This years product in my opinion is the best yet, save for those who may argue that the flagship product in 2006 will never be beat.

This was one of the most enjoyable breaks I have ever done, and there were surprises in each and every box. Typically for each four boxes I opened, I was left with 16 relics/autos, and at least (2) of the following: Mini No #, Case hit or Sp boxloader, Mini SSP/Hand numbered.
If you wanted to count these as hits (which they might as well have been, considering the price some sold for), I had a total of about 45 "Hits."
I ended up with 2 complete sets (1-350), another base set of (300), 2 Complete Tallest Building Sets, 1 Complete Historical Turning Point set, 260 + Minis, and near complete sets of Whats in a Name, and Highlight Sketches. When all was said and done, I got the satisfaction of ripping my favorite product, and broke even on the case price---not too bad in my eyes.
Fun Facts from my case:
*Overall the case yielded 4 cards each of 90% of the base 300 cards.

*ZERO damaged cards---Thumbs up to Topps!!
*Each box contained all the stated hits---no extras, but I'll take it.
*Each pack that had a Darvish RC #4, had a David Price #5 right behind it.
*In the majority of packs, a pack that had a Topps advertisement also contained a hit.
*In 10 of the 12 boxes all of the hits were located in the middle of the box from left to right (packs 10, 11, and 12).
